Nordic markets were not able to find their way on Thursday, so they stayed where they were. Alliance oil third quarter operating update came in and the markets looked at it favourably. Production volumes were up and targets maintained. The stock ended the day up over 5%. Atlas Copco received a 190 million kronor contract from Russia. Volvo's major shareholder Renault sold its Class B shares, totalling 14.9 percent of share capital, in the Swedish automotive group to
institutional investors for 93 SEK per share. Share price for the start of the day was above 94 and came down to 92 on the news.
DiaGenic common share rights offering was oversubscribed 1.4 times. The company raised 70 million kroner. SAS reported weaker than expected yield and an 8.5% annual growth in passenger numbers. Capacity utilization was around 74% for September. The stock lost 2%. Interest rate decisions from Bank of England and ECB did not contain any surprises.
