Nordic markets closed slightly positive after another light trading day. Danish police has arrested four people for suspected planning of a terrorist attack against newspaper Jyllands-Posten the local media reports. Swedish police arrested a fifth suspect in Stockholm. The police found heavy firearms and ammo.

Skanska is selling its 50% share in Autopista Central (Central Highway) a partially submerged 61-kilometer, 6-lane modern highway in Santiago, Chile to Alberta Investment Management Corporation from Canada. This will net the company an after tax gain of around 5 billion SEK and a positive cash flow of around 6 billion. The deal requires approval from bond guarantor and certain amendments to financing agreements. Skanska’s CEO Johan Karlström dubbed Autopista Central as Skanska’s most succesfull investment in history. Skanska’s share ended up more than 2%.

NCC sells GreenBuilding office Alberga A in the Helsinki region to Union Investment Real Estate GmbH for 336 million SEK. Around 90% of the office space in the property has already been leased out and NCC will be responsible for leasing out of the remaining 10% as well. Kungsleden AB divests 1.3 billion SEK worth of properties in Germany to joint venture partner Hemsö Fastighets AB

Topotarget announced that first patient had been dozed in a sponsor initiated stage 1-2 trial investigating the company’s lead clinical study candidate Belinostat in combination with Tarceva for the treatment on non-small cell lung cancer. Belinostat, which is partnered with soon to be NASDAQ Global Select Market traded Spectrum Pharmaceuticals is in pivotal trials in Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma indication. Topotarget was up 4% today.

Pöyry gained 3.67% on a couple of minor deals. Those have been adding up a little bit lately and the stock looks to have bottomed in the short term. Glaston has received approximately 6 million Euro worth of orders from Asia in December. The company has been having a very hard time to recover from the financial crisis. Investors felt a little more secure about the company’s prospects as the company gained nearly 5% today.

Russia's anti-trust Commission for Foreign Investment has rejected TeliaSonera’s and Russian consortium Altimo’s deal to merge their interests in MegaFon of Russia and Turkcell. You can read about it from Russian State news agency RIA Novosti here.

Sevan Marine managed to secure commitments for 480 million USD Senior Debt Project Finance Facility is fully underwritten by DVB Group Merchant Bank (Asia) Pte Ltd, NIBC Bank N.V., ING Bank N.V., China Development Bank and GIEK/Eksportfinans. Other financers are expected to join in. Sevan Marine was up 7.7% on the news.

DNO International ASA announced that the well Chite-1 in the Inhaminga Block in Mozambique was dry.This was the first ever well in a potential new play fairway Urema Graben. DNO has exercised an option to drill another well east from this one, after which the company feels there is sufficient information regarding the potential of the play. DNO backed 3.5% in today’s trading.
