Nordic markets were mostly up with Oslo the lone exception. Stockholm's exchange continued to show strength. The smoke from Libya's oil producing region pushed oil back on an upward path. Earlier in the day speculation of the passangers of a governmental plane out of Libya had brought some hopes up.

Nokia was taken off some conviction sell lists and the company stated it will continue to sell Symbian phones as long as it remains profitable. The former was more of a reason for the small climb today. Mobile phone chargers manufacturer Salcomp will exit the stockmarket as the majority owner Nordstjernan has exceeded 90% ownership plateau and will initiate proceedings to redeem the minority shareholders' shares.

Clas Ohlson did much better than expected in Q4. The markets thanked with a 12% gain. Questerre Energy Corporation lost a quarter of its value when authorities in Quebec halted shale gas exploration.
