Major contracts for Nordic firms

Today the good news were plentifull on the Nordic markets. FLSmidth (OMX: FLS) got two large contracts, a handling order from Morocco and a copper mine equipment supply contract from Zambia.

Lemminkäinen (OMXH: LEM1S) landed a major infrastructure construction contract in Norway and YIT ((OMX: YTY1V) signed a contract for pipeline collection systems for waste in Helsinki.

AF Gruppen (OSE: AFG) has been appointed as a contractor for the development and upgrading of the road Rv. 70 Oppdølstranda in Sunndal municipality in Møre og Romsdal. The contract is worth over half a billion NOK.

Wärtsilä (OMXH: WRT1V) and and Jiangsu CuiXing Marine Offshore Engineering will establish a joint venture in China. Wärtsilä also got a 129 million Euro order for two dynamic grid reserve power plants into Estonia.

Tecnotree (OMXH: TEM1V) continues to offset its problems in Asia by scoring contracts in South America. This time it got a 4.1 million USD Convergent Charging contract. The company CEO said other contracts are to follow and markets reacted with a 20% surge.

Other companies scoring major contracts were MultiQ, Saab AB (the aerospace and defence company) and Goodtech. Saab Automobile AG is still hanging on as well. Last couple of days there have been news of an undisclosed deal from China, sales of real estate and a 25 million Euro bridge loan from Gemini Investment fund have allowed for wage payments to be made.
