Nokia & Accenture
Nokia has finalized outsourcing agreement with Accenture. Approximately 2800 employees are expected to transfer to Accenture, which is expected to take place at closing in October. Accenture will support and develop Symbian platform and will become the preferred supplier to Nokia. Nokia's mission for mobile and location based services is renewed and Michael Halbherr has been appointed EVP of the new new Location & Commerce business unit, which will combine NAVTEQ and social location services operations. These news coupled with a favourable recommendation are pushing Nokia up in the morning trade.
