Siemens plans on NSN

Siemens AG (FWB: SIE) is 'still continuing' negotiations on the sale of a part of Nokia Siemens Networks. The uptake from the story by Bloomberg is that those negotiations do not yet seem primed to enter a hot phase. Article by the Wall Street Journal takes the view that the negotiations seem to be failing entirely. For Nokia's part investors have been waiting for something to happen to allow a spin- off of NSN. Several months ago investors were somewhat disappointed by comments that such a thing is still not timely for quite some time. They are likely not happy if indeed Nokia and Siemens need to put more cash into it either.
