Nokia WP7 NA launch

An interview given by Nokia Oyj's (OMX: NOK1V) head of North American operations Chris Weber to VentureBeat last week downplayed expectations of a full Windows Phone 7 launch from Nokia in USA this year. Nokia is now targeting U.S. carriers in a change of North American strategy. Weber said that MeeGo phone N9 won’t be launched in America. He went on to claim that with the help of Microsoft, Nokia is far ahead of the competition in cloud technology and highlighted additional phone features, such as touch free voice commands.
