In spite of initial challenges, Chinese billionaire still eyes Nordic projects

Despite suffering a major setback when Iceland denied his bid to purchase land, billionaire investor and chairman of Zhongkun Investment Group Huang Nubo is still interested in doing business in Northern Europe, newspaper China Daily reports today. Huang mentioned that he is still speaking with various ministries in Iceland.

Huang is also interested in tourism property projects in other Nordic countries and he recently met with ambassador of Denmark regarding opportunities in Greenland. Huang told the newspaper that he foresees the company assets for such projects in Denmark, Sweden and Finland to total 2 billion USD in the future.
