Score another one for who trusted The January Effect to appear even in these turbulent times as all the main Nordic indexes started the year with a monthly gain. Only the miniscule NASDAQ OMX Iceland was down for the month. Majority of the gains were achieved within the first couple of weeks. Since then the indexes have been treading water.
