Biohit jumps on distributor deal

Finnish health care company Biohit Plc (OMXH: BIOBV.B) and Sweden-based diagnostics company Euro Diagnostica for the latter to exclusively distribute Biohit’s stomach disease biomarker test GastroPanel in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The parties have also signed a non-exclusive distribution agreement in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Biohit’s stock made a sudden double-digit jump on the news.
