HS: Aatos Erkko has died

Helsingin Sanomat reported that its former Chief Editor Aatos Erkko has passed away aged 79. He came from a long line of journalists, with his grandfather having been one of the founders of the newspaper. Erkko was the largest individual owner of media group Sanoma Corporation (OMX: SAA1V) with just over 23% of shares, making him one the wealthiest individuals in Finland.
