Sweden wins Eurovision 2012

Sweden has won the 57th Eurovision Song Contest. The final was held tonight in Baku, Azerbaijan. Swedish entry was called Euphoria and it was sung by Moroccan-Swedish pop singer Lorine Zineb Noka Talhaoui better known as Loreen. She had been nearly even money favourite going into the 26 nation final. The song won by a wide margin with 372 out of 504 total points, clearly edging out Russia and Serbia. This result means that the high profile competition will be held in Sweden next year. Denmark, Norway and Iceland came in near the bottom. Finland did not make the final at all.
