Scirocco files for bankruptcy

UHF Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Infrared identification systems developer Scirocco Ab has applied for bankruptcy. The company has focused on products that are suitable for using in dirty and electrically noisy applications. Its RFID products are used in wide-area transportation logistics applications where as Infrared systems are used in facilitating factory lines automation

While new orders had been coming in, the pace hasn’t been quick enough to allow visibility for profits to come. Therefore the Board of Directors has decided to call it a day after attempts to secure further financing failed. The company is listed in Aktietorget. AktieTorget Holding AB operates a Financial Supervisory Authority approved securities firm that runs a stock exchange-like trading platform aimed at growth companies and it has some 125 listed companies.
