Oslo Børs has said that & Gas Equipment & Services MultiClient Geophysical ASA will start trading on the alternate Oslo Axess list from Thursday 2:dn of May onwards with a ticker MCG. This is the fourth new listing on Oslo Børs’ market places in 2013 following Asetek ASA, EAM Solar ASA and Serodus ASA. Offsetting this gain are delisting of Dockwise, Pronova BioPharma and Codfarmers.
Yesterday MultiClient Geophysical announced a successful initial public offering yielding gross proceeds of around 80 million NOK to be used to strengthen organization and invest in 2D multi-client library both via internal development and potential acquisitions. The market cap of the company based on the IPO valuation is 371 million NOK. It aims to provide oil and gas industry companies seismic information that de-risks their development projects.
