Pöyry nets 22 million frame agreement

Pöyry (OMX: POY1V) has gained over 2% on the heels of announcing technical consulting frame agreement from the Swedish national grid Svenska Kraftnät. The agreement is valid for 2012-2013 with options for 1+1 more years.

Svenska Kraftnät will be investing almost 20 billion SEK within the next four years. Pöyry Swedpower Ab’s contract is the largest consultancy services contract awarded. It should provider approximatately 200 million SEK (226 million Euros) of revenue.

Yesterday the Finnish company announced it will help to protect Swiss city of Winterthur against floods. Pöyry’s Energy unit will design and supervise Hegmatten Flood Retention Reservoir project in consortium with Basler & Hofmann AG. The project nets around 2 million Euros for the company.
