Oslo Bors to be Fish Pool majority owner
It was announced last week that Oslo Stock Exchange is acquiring a 71% stake in Fish Pool ASA which operates as a regulated marketplace for fish and seafood derivates trading from Imarex (OSE: IMAREX), Bergen Energi and GC Rieber. The pool is currently focusing on fresh, gutted Atlantic salmon. The plan is to further develop the pool to a global exchange on fish and seafood products. There are already 19 seafood industry firms listed in Oslo Stock Exchange, making it the world’s premium exchange in the segment. The deal values Fish Pool at 27.3 million NOK.
