Asia was broadly lower today as the strength of Japanese yen, uncertainty regarding BOJ interventions, or the lack thereof, and even wild rumours concerning the leader of Chinese Central Bank weighed in. This all happened despite the fact that India’s GDP number came in at lofty 8.8%. Nordic stocks were broadly lower in the early trading but pared losses after a better than expected US consumer confidence number came in during the final hours of trading.

Kongsberg Gruppen ASA won a contract worth 270 Million Kroner from Lockeed Martin and Aker Solutions received a 120 Million Kroner contract from Statoil. Scania decides to invest in a wind-tunnel in Södertälje. Oriola-KD purchased a pharmacy chain from Russia.

Bavarian Nordic revenue came in at DKK 175 million and loss before tax of DKK 179 million. The company cited “technical issues” for the failure to meet delivery goals of IMVAMUNE.
