Nokia galloped on news that Microsoft president of Microsoft Business Division Stephen Elop is their new CEO. After long and intensive speculation, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo is leaving the post on September 20th. Many analysts simultaneously upped their targets, undoubtedly completely innocently. Following this game and the age old adage of selling the news, Nokia slid down in the afternoon and ended the day up just a hair.

China posted another massive trade surplus. Euro area posted an equally massive deficit. Industrial production surprised on the upside for July. Apartment prices were also still on the rise. Norwegian inflation printed at 1.9% y/y for August and -0.2% in relation to July.
