Vestas (OMX:VWS) has been teetering on the 100 DKK edge for quite some time. It was already trading considerably below that level this morning but recovered along with the rest of the market to close at 101.60 DKK. Takeover speculation has continued in various media reports since the chatter started early last month, but there is nothing concrete to report on that front.
The company could also rejoice over a couple of new orders. Vestas got an order from VAPAT for two projects in Spain with a total capacity of 92 MW. Also news broke that The Colorado Public Utilities Commission has approved proposed 29 megawatt wind project south of Pueblo in Huerfano County, Colorado, USA. This project shall include 16 Vestas wind turbines.
