Vestas Wind Systems A/S (OMX: VWS) said on Friday, that the company has appointed Dag Gunnar Andresen as a new CFO and a member of Executive Management starting from August 1st. He most recently held a similar position at Sweden energy company Vattenfall AB. Prior to this he has experience from the financial and industrial sector.
Senior management of the company is delighted to have attracted such a household name, whose experience also fits the company. Mr. Andresen himself said he realizes that the company needs significant tightening to return to profitability, something he is used to, and is looking forward to contributing to get the company back on track.
