FLSmidth receives phosphate ore drying system order

A Moroccan company OCP Office Chérifien des Phosphates has contracted FLSmidth A/S (OMX: FLS) to supply equipment and technology for a phosphate terminal in Jorf Lasfar, Morocco. The order from the returning customer currently comprises of a flash drying system for dewatered phosphate with a capacity of 31 000 tonnes per day, making it the largest of its kind in the world. Additionally FLSmidth will deliver combustion systems, pelletizing, a complete control package and an air pollution control system. OCP is a world leader in phosphates exports and demands cutting edge technology. The order is worth round 90 million USD (~ 460 million DKK) and will generate activity until next year.
