Brain injuries stop an Oslo university research project

Television station 2 of Norway said that Oslo University Hospital has had to stop a research project after at least 2 people have suffered severe brain damage. A surgeon conducting the research has taken brain biopsies from 122 individuals. In at least these two cases the sample tissue taking has led to a brain haemorrhages. The hospital is taking the matter seriously and thinks a stop is warranted while Norwegian Board of Health Supervision opinion is sought after.
