Suomen Lähikauppa to get a new owner

Private equity company IK Investment Partners is selling Finnish neighbourhood store chain Suomen Lähikauppa to investment company Triton. The transaction is done between their funds IK2000 and Triton III. Other owners Tradeka cooperative and Wihuri Oy are also selling. Suomen Lähikauppa is known for its shops called Siwa and Valintatalo. Many of them also operate local postal or nearby delivery services. Financial terms haven’t been disclosed. The transaction is subject to competition authorities’ approval.
